Rain

It is raining this evening and the temperature has gone down to 60, and I feel alive again.
It is as if the cool temps, soothe my frantic mind.
The patter of the rain with the door open to the screen, for the first time in many weeks, the rain dripping, the air cool and clean.
My thoughts cease to race, the worries are still there, but they seem less savage, the immediacy of concern is gone.
Life seems possible once more.
